Why was Jilly Bing created?
Jilly Bing was created to help children see themselves reflected in the toys they love.
Many families told us they struggled to find dolls that genuinely represented Asian American and mixed Asian children in a thoughtful, authentic way. We wanted to create dolls that felt beautiful, relatable, and meaningful, while also celebrating diversity and representation through everyday play.
Beyond representation, we believe dolls can become so much more than toys. They can become imaginary friends, adventure buddies, comforting companions, and part of the little worlds children create for themselves. Through doll play, kids practice empathy, storytelling, confidence, emotional learning, and self-expression in ways that often stay with them for years.
Our goal is simple: to create dolls children truly fall in love with: dolls they feel connected to, comforted by, inspired by, and proud to call their own.

What age are Jilly Bing dolls best for?
Jilly Bing dolls are recommended for children ages 3 and older.Many families especially love them for older children, and even for themselves. They’re designed for ages 4–108, and are especially meaningful for adults who never had a doll that looked like them growing up, as well as collectors and kids who love imaginative play and doll collecting.
Which doll should I start with: Jilly or Riley?
Both dolls are wonderful first dolls, and many families choose based on the child’s personal connection to each character and design.
Some families start with Jilly, while others immediately connect with Riley’s representation and story. Both were created to inspire confidence, imagination, and joyful play.

Many families also choose to start with both dolls together. Our doll bundles let kids build their own imaginative world while families save more when purchasing multiple dolls and accessories.
What size are Jilly Bing dolls and what accessories are they compatible with?
Jilly Bing dolls are a standard 14” size, making them easy for children to carry, style, and enjoy during everyday play.
Some clothing and accessories made for other 14” dolls may also fit, though we cannot guarantee sizing compatibility with third-party brands.
How should I care for my Jilly Bing doll and hair?
Jilly Bing doll hair can be gently brushed and styled during everyday play. Many children enjoy creating hairstyles and incorporating hair play into imaginative storytelling.
To help maintain the doll’s quality over time, we recommend gentle brushing and avoiding excessive pulling, tangling, or heat styling tools.
If the doll becomes dirty, use a soft towel with lukewarm water to gently wipe away marks or dirt.

Safety is extremely important to us. All Jilly Bing products meet applicable U.S. federal safety requirements for children ages 3 and older, and our vendors are required to provide certification that products meet or exceed required safety standards.
Jilly Bing dolls are manufactured in an overseas factory certified by the ICTI Ethical Toy Program (IETP).

Can I purchase the celebrity-inspired Jilly Bing dolls I’ve seen online?
At this time, our celebrity-inspired dolls are not available for purchase. These were one-of-one custom creations made as special gifts and passion projects to celebrate inspiring Asian American icons and moments that meant a lot to our community.

We currently only ship to the United States and Canada.

We offer flat-rate shipping within the United States, including U.S. territories, for $10 per order regardless of order value.
For orders shipped to Canada, we offer flat-rate shipping for $25, which includes applicable customs duties.
